Cake & Cupcake Care Disclaimer

At It’s OK Cupcake, every dessert is baked with love, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. Once your sweet creation leaves our hands, it’s up to you to keep it celebration-ready! To help you do that, here are a few helpful tips and reminders to ensure your cakes and cupcakes stay as beautiful and delicious as when they left our kitchen.

Cake Care

1. Handling Your Cake

Our cakes are edible works of art! Always carry them flat and level, supporting the box from the bottom, never by the sides. Avoid tilting, stacking, or placing heavy objects on top of the box.

2. Storage

  • Buttercream cakes: Keep cool and out of direct sunlight. If not serving within a few hours, refrigerate and allow to come to room temperature for 1–2 hours before serving.
  • Fondant cakes: Store in a cool, dry place — not the refrigerator — to avoid condensation or color bleeding.

3. Transportation

Use a cool, air-conditioned vehicle and place your cake on a flat surface, never on a seat or someone’s lap. Drive carefully — no sudden stops or sharp turns!

4. Responsibility After Pickup

Once your cake has been picked up or delivered, It’s OK Cupcake cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during transport, handling, or storage. Please follow these care instructions closely to keep your cake party-perfect.

5. Serving & Leftovers

Enjoy your cake fresh! Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days or frozen for later enjoyment.

Cupcake Care

1. Handling Your Cupcakes

Keep your cupcake box flat and level at all times. Avoid tilting or shaking — those frosting swirls are delicate! Carry the box from the bottom and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat.

2. Storage

  • Room temperature: Ideal if enjoyed within 24 hours. Store in a cool, dry spot away from direct light.
  • Refrigeration: For longer storage (up to 3 days), place in an airtight container. Bring to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
  • Freezing: Wrap individually and freeze in a sealed container for future sweet moments. Thaw at room temperature to enjoy.

3. Temperature Tips

Buttercream and cream cheese frosting are sensitive to heat — they’ll melt or slide if exposed to high temperatures. Avoid warm cars, windowsills, or outdoor events without shade.

4. Responsibility After Pickup

Once your cupcakes leave our bakery, we are not responsible for damage caused by heat, handling, or transport. Please use extra care when carrying or storing them.

Final Sweet Note 🍰🧁

Every creation from It’s OK Cupcake is made to spread joy, connection, and celebration. Handle with care, serve with love, and remember — it’s always OK to eat the cupcake! 💖
